Update 2009: Fade black an white print, printed on postcard paper. A woman seated on a wooden chair alongside a wooden picket fence. Three tall telephone poles behind her and several small houses and shacks. The woman's hair is pinned up and she is wearing a belted light colored dress. Along the left border is written: "July 11, 1916" in pencil.
Written on back in pencil: " Miss Mildred E. from Mrs.. Alex Gordon July 11, 1916".
Written on back in black ink: "Pictured: Elfie Engstrom Gordon."
Written on back in pencil and upside down: "Elfie".
The words "Post Card" are stamped in black in. There is a vertical black line dividing the two halves of the postcard an din the upper right hand corner a stamped "place Postage {logo} Stamp Here" in black ink.
The postcard is intact with an overall faded appearance with some smudges. There is a small hole in the top center of the postcard as if it was hung on a wall with a tack or pin. The backside of the postcard is more yellowed with a black smudge on the bottom right edge.Collection
