Update 2009: Black and white print attached to a light tan matboard which has been cut off at top, bottom and side left. Print shows a young Lillian Heath with a group of three other young women standing back stage in a horizontal row with bare wall behind them. Woman on left is wearing white mid calf length dress with dark gloves with dark short vest and white cloth cap on her dark long hair which drapes over her right shoulder. Her left hand rests on Lillian's right shoulder. Lillian is wearing a back mid calf length dress with short lace sleeves and overlay on V neck edge. She has a multi-strand black choker necklace around neck. She has a high crown wide brim black hat on her dark hair which is pulled back. Lillian is wearing black half gloves that extend to elbows and holds an open fan in her hands in front of her. A woman with a mid calf plaid print dress with dark ribbon accents along hem and bodice front. Bodice has a drape of same fabric from side waist to top of shoulder left .She has long dark hair gathered from back to shoulder right front. She wears matching plaid hat with single feather. A woman to her left is wearing a white mid calf length cotton dress with eyelet lace accents on bottom and at high neck edge. She is wearing dark half gloves and holds a pleated open long fan in her right hand. A black shaggy fur stole is over her left shoulder. A white drawstring cotton cap is on her head and she is holding the ties of it in her left upraised hand. She wears her dark hair under the hat except for the bangs seen on her forehead.

Mat and print are in fair condition . Soiling and missing pieces at intervals along all edges and corners. Extreme soiling with various sized splotches of unknown stains. Lifted emulsion with blistering and residue top center area. There are bends in matboard side right. Dark smudges are on back.Collection
