Two sepia prints on black mats. Image is of the interior of a saloon and three men, two are standing behind & one in front of an ornate bar. It has 4 decorative columns in front of beveled wood panels, beneath a crown molding top. A pipe rail is on the floor in front of the bar with spitoons beneath. There is a large mirror on the wall behind the bar with 2 columns at each end. Two pictures hang above the bar. To photo left of bar is a glass front liquor cabinet with 4 shelves of bottles. Men are dressed in suits & ties. The man on left is wearing a coat & cap, the man in middle has a mustache. A sign above the cash register reads: "Harper Whiskey Premium A + A _ A +"
Print 1: Written on yellow post it note in pencil: "Interior - James Clause's Senate Saloon as it appeared from the late 90's through 1905. Est. 1886 it was located at 311 W. Front Street Rawlins, WY. Clause is the mustached man in the middle behind the bar. In black ink: "Rans".
Good condition. Accretion, mat scuffed, edges & corners worn, soiled. Size 10 x 12"
Print 2: Written on yellow post it note in pencil on back: "Interior James Clause's Senate Saloon as it appeared at the turn of the twentieth century through 1905. Est. 1886 located at 311 W. Front St. Rawlins. Clause is the man with the mustache behind the bar:.
Good condition. Emulsion impacted, mat scuffed, soiled, paper missing back, bottom, center.
