Sepia print on cream mat. Image of the interior of a saloon. One man stands behind the bar & two more in front. A divider is on photo right that is ornate carved wood with glass square window set with corner down. A shelf behind the bar is lined with bottles & above has pictures & beer signs on the wall. Table & two chairs are on photo right with a wood stove beyond. Two flat tables are in the back of the room & racks & pool cues hang on wall behind. Two electric lights are on either side of an oil lamp. Typed on white adhesive tag on bottom: "Original Senate Saloon Front Street"
Written on yellow adhesive tag in pencil on back: "Interior of James Clause's Senate Saloon 311 W. Front St Rawlins, WY. This is Senate as it appeared in the early 1890's. Clause is behind the bar."
Written in yellow ink: "Property of M. V. Cook". In blue ink: "Rans" in a circle. In black: "Rans" inside a circle & Rawlins Wyoming around outside.
Good condition. Wrinkled, scratched, coming off mat, soiled, accretion.Collection
