Black & white print on yellow mat. Image of interior of saloon with two men, one on each side of a bar. The bar has pictures painted on panels in front. Hanging beneath the bar are hooks on which towels are hung. Glasses line a shelf behind the bar & a window is tilted open on wall above. A grandfather clock is to photo right of the window. A wood cabinet is next to clock, it has a faucet & lever on the side & the doors on the front look like ice box latches. Several lamps are hanging above the bar. The man behind the bar has short hair, mustache & wears a dark vest over a white, long sleeve shirt. The man in front wears dark slacks, vest, a white shirt & wide, flat brimmed hat. He has a watch chain & fob & rests his right elbow on the bar with his left on his hip. Engraved on lower right corner: "C. H. Bryant & Co., Photographers"
Written on yellow post it note on back: "Interior of a Rawlins, WY, Front Street Saloon in the 1890's." In green ink: "Rans" in a circle.
Good condition. Soiled, accretion, wrinkled, vertical scratch, tear at bottom, right edge faded.Collection
