James Measures in a frame handpainted by Lillie Jungquist.. Update - 2009: Black & white print. Studio portrait. Mounted in a hand painted & cardboard frame with purple pansies on lower right edge of oval opening & gold splashes around opening & outer edges. Scalloped edge on frame front. Head & shoulders portrait of a man in a dark jacket, dark patterned tie & white shirt. he has short hair & mustache. A stickpin in the shape of a hand & forearm in tie. Gold circles with wavy outlines & one plain outline on frame back. Written on back in blue ink: "James Measures[sic]" "Heath Nelson collection" "Lillie Jungquist painted this picture frame" "James Measures". Mounted in acidic frame. Frame back scuffed. Lower right corner of frame front missing. Front scuffed; edge & corner damage; tear in right edge below center. Image surface badly soiled.
