Description

Black & white print on brown mat. Image of a decorated saloon & approximately 14 men standing behind & in front of the bar. Crepe paper streamers are overhead & two strings of crepe paper balls are between columns above a mirror. Small American flags are in a line above the streamers. A light fixture hangs from the ceiling. The men, except one, third from right, are wearing dress clothes & many have hats. The older man has an unkempt appearance & wears a medium colored jacket, shirt & pants. Written on top in black: "Boomerang". On side: "Tommie Ryan". At bottom: "N. Dave Kimble, Rumph, Daley". Written on back on yellow post it note: "Fred Rumph & "Nosie" Dave Nicholas, Boomerang No. 2 "Opening" in March 1910 at the sight of Boomerang No. 1 at 417 W. Front, Rawlins, Wy. Although Nicholas sold out around 1915, Rumph ran bar until Prohibition and into the 20's as Tea Hall" Good condition. Liquid stained, accretion, mat scuffed & paper missing on corners, edges worn & paper missing, soiled.
