18th cent. Chippendale-style ball-and-claw foot. Red or Scots pine. Single-drawered dressing table. Cabriole legs with carving on knees. All four aprons are scalloped with front apron ornately carved.
Possibly used by John Carlyle at Carlyle House.
According to notarized description (see perm. file), provenance placed as VA or NC, circa 1760.
