Image of a crane removing debris from a crevasse inside the structure of Bonneville Dam after the flood of 1948. The crane has removed a large chuck of debris and it is being lifted into the air by the claw of the crane. There is an individual inspecting the debris and overring operations. Bottom left of image reads; "18000-267 6-5-48" Back of image reads; "The X mark is where we stand or sit to count fish sometimes. there is a hale there so we can see the fish coming in over the gates into the fishways. There is a railing around so it isn't too dangerous and we wear life jackets. The building in the back of the crane is the powerhouse."
