Description

Scutch Hammer. Hammer has a wooden handle that has been wrapped in fabric and coated in a unknown substance to hold the wrapping in place. The head of the hammer is metal with a hammer head on one end and a scutch end on the the other. There is a makers mark on the side of the hammer that reads, "Shapleighs," along with a letter, "E" that has been added using divots.

Wooden handle is tan with dark spots of wear and residue. Fabric wrap is dark in color with tan around the fraying edges. There is residue of a coating on the wrap that is dark in color with a white and gray bloom to it. The metal head is silver with with dark areas in concave areas of dark, brown, and red rust and dirt.
