Castle Rock, Columbia River. Castle Rock a majestic scenic landmark, on the Washington side of the river, seen for miles from the Columbia River Highway. It was long considered insurmountable. Covering at its base but 17 acres lands above the river, a lovely spire 900 feet high. On Union Pacific System". Friday- Jan. 7, (19)'21. Didn't get all the "wak" done I planned for yesterday, so am real busy today. Lots colder last night and this morning, but no storm. Just about right to get out your skates and go for a slide.
