Documement of proposal to sale land to Oliver M. Hickey from Henry A. Latourell.
Document reads;
Know all men by these presents, that we, Henry Latourell and Lizzie Latourell, of Gresham, Oregon for a valuable consideration, hereby acknowledged, do hereby give and grant unto Oliver M. Hickey of Portland, Oregon, the exclusive right and option to purchase the southeast quater of the southeast corner of section thirty (30), Township One North, Range Five East Willimatte Meridian, excepting such portions thereof, as has been heretofore conveyed to Multnomah County, Oregon, for right of way for road purposes, and is actually owned by Multnomah County, Oregon, at this time, which option is on the following terms and conditions,
First: The said Oliver M. Hickey, or his assigns, shall have the exclusive right and option to purchase said described land for a period of one year from this date.
Second: We, the undersigned, hereby agreed to convey said described premises to said Oliver M. Hickey, or his assigns, for and in consideration of the sum of Fifty Thousand ($50,000.00) Dollars, paid to us, within one year from this date.
In case option is not exerised by O M. Hickey, or his assigns within one year, then all rights herein granted are terminated, and this option is fully ended.
In witness thereof, we have hereto affixed our hands and executed this option to purchase, this ___ day of October, 1919, at Portland, Oregon. Witness signed (eligable), Signed (Eligible), Signed Lizzie Latourell Seal, Signed Henry Latourell Seal.

This Certifies, that on this 17 day of October, A. D. 1919, before me, the undersigned a notary public, in and for said county and state, personally appeared thge within named Henry Latourell and Lizzie Latourell, who are known to me to be the identical persons described in and who executed the within instrument, and acknowledged to me that they executed the same freelyt and voluntarily.
In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year last above written. Signed (elgible) Notary Public for Oregon. My commission expires Sept 4, 1920.
