Description

Slide ruler used in the construction of the cascade locks and canal to calculate measurements. Slide ruler is wooden with two wooden slide pieces. Front is painted yellow with black numbers and markings. There is a label on the front of the slide rule that reads, "home-made slide rule. Made and used during construction of Cascade Locks in the 1890's."
