Description

Image of the frozen Columbia River. Chunks of ice have been broken and refroze creating rifts of sharp chucks of ice. There are pockets of open water where the ice has broken and exposed the water below. In the distance two deer have made there was across the frozen ice a distance from the shore. One deer is laid down on the ice while the other one stands a ways behind it on the ice. Back of image reads; 1948 above Dam, 1948 Ice above Dam
