Photograph A is an image of the Cascade Rapids looking north from the Oregon side of the river. In the Background the Washington side of the river is visible.
Photograph B is an image of the Cascade Rapids from the middle of the river (Most likely from Thunder Island) looking southwest. In the image the Washington bank is visible on the right side of the image and the Oregon side of the river is seen in the background.
Photograph C is an image of the sternwheeler the Dalles City in the Cascade Locks and Canal heading down-stream.
Photograph D is an image of the sternwheeler Chas. R. Spencer in the Cascade Locks and Canal heading up-stream.
Photograph E is an image of a man in a diving suit being lowered into the water of the Cascade Locks and Canal. There are two men assisting with the helping the diver with his suit and equipment while another man watches. Inscription below the image reads; "Mr. Conner in diving suit. Divers in canal"
