Photograph of the construction of the Cascade Locks and Canal. Photograph was taking looking northeast from the inside of the canal with the lock gates open. The left canal wall is finished along thunder Island. The right canal wall has yet to be assembled. There are two structures on the right side of the image with the roofs visible.
