Form P47- Letters of Administration. In the circuit court of Multnomah County State of Oregon. In the matter of the estate of Grace Latourell deceased. State of Oregon, County of Multnomah }SS. To all persons to whom these presents shall come, greeting: Know ye, that it appearing to the court aforesaid, that Grace Latourell, has died intestate, leaving at the time of her death, property in this state, such state has duly appointed Henry A. Latourell administrator of the estate of such Grace Latourell, deceased. This, therefore, authorized the said Henry A. Latourell to administer the estate of said Grace Latourell deceased according to law. In testimony, I, JNO. B. Coffey, Jos. W. Beveridge, County Clerk, have hereunto subscribed my name, and affixed the seal of said court this 12th day of Nov. A. D. 1918. Jos. W. Beveridge County Clerk, by Oliveg C. Shoutoa Deputy. The law requires that; Inventory and appraisement must be filed within thirty days. Semi-annual report between the first and tenth of april and october. Inventory and appraisement.
The executor or administrator shall within one month from the date of his appointment , make an inventory and appraisement of all the real and personal property of the estate or which he has possession or knowledge, and file the same with the county clerk.
In such inventory and appraisement are not made and filed within one month, or such further time as may be allowed by the court, the administrator or executor shall be removed. (Sec. 1177, Lord's Oregon Laws)
Semi-annual Reports
Every executor or administrator shall within the first ten days of April and October of each year to render an account, verified by his oath and file the same with the county clerk, showing the amount of money received and to hom paid, the claims presented against said estate and allowed or disallowed, with the name of the claimant in each instance, and also any other matter necessary to fully exhibit the condition of the estate.
If such semi-annual accounts are not filed at the time of mentioned, the executor or administrator will be proceeded against citation, and if he refuses to file such account, he may be punished for contempt, and committed to jail until an account shall have been prepared and filed (Sec. 1282, Lord's Oregon Laws).
Final Report
When the estate shall have been fully administered (which should be accomplished at the expiration of the first six months if possible), The executor or administrator must file a final account. This account must be sworn to and must contain a detailed statement of the amount of money received and expended by him, from whom received and to whom paid, and the amount of money and property, if any, remaining.
If an executor or administrator shall fail to file such final account, he will be proceeded against the same as for failure to fil semi-annual accounts. (Sec. 1285, Lord's Oregon Laws).Lexicon
