Description

CCB Polo Jacket donated by Mr. Bill and Mrs. Jackie Gurney April 2023. “It was in the family but no specific details .” Red wool coat with velvet collar made by Brooks Brothers. The buttons are engraved "BCC". This was when the Club was referred to as the Buffalo Country Club.Three of the eleven charter members of the Country Club , Rumsey, Scatherd and Dr.Cary were among the founders of the Buffalo Polo Club in 1877. That organization was absorbed into the Country Club in 1889
