Scope and Content

Read a closeup review on the history of golf at CCB as narrated by CCB member Arthur E. Hedstrom to member Nelson S. Taylor who typed up his notes. This is a unique look into CCB's golf world, starting in 1894. A younger member faction, led by Mr. Hedstrom, wanted to move the club to Main and Bailey for space for golf course and polo fields and tennis courts. An older member faction wanted the city for a closer drive.
