The cover photograph from a promotional (probably free) calendar advertising W.S. "Sid" Gilman, Licensed broker of Vermont Real Estate, located in Chelsea, Vermont.
Photograph (loaned by Robert H. Tucker) is a view of the World's Fair in Tunbridge Vermont, thought to have been taken around 1890. Scene is the north end of the Fairgrounds with the Sherlock farm on the Spring Road in the background. The large round tent on the right is presumed to contain a stream-driven Merry-Go-Round. The baseball and milk bottle games seen at today's fairs are likely descended from the strange setup under the net in the foreground where an open box of cigars awaits a lucky winner.
2nd picture has additional fair history.
