![“Hambletonian's Monument, Chester, N. Y.” Back: The image shows the back of an old postcard, marked with various postmarks and handwriting. The top left corner features a circular "NEWYORK N.Y. STA. Y" postmark dated April 17, [?]. A one-cent green U.S. Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is affixed in the top right corner. The postcard is addressed to "Miss Mildred Greene, N. 6th St, Plainfield, N.J." The message, written in cursive script, fills the left side of the card, and it mentions that the sender wished the recipient were coming the next day and mentions something about it raining hard. The card itself is noted No.D 5934 Pub. by Merchants Commission Co, Middletown, N.
