From the days when Bairdlea, now known as "Fury Brook Farm," operated as a dairy farm. This invention allowed a cow to drink as much and as often as she desired. The cow would simply press its nose on the grate in the cup to release the flow of water into the bowl.Context
The Bairdlea Farm ceased operating as a dairy farm in about 1980. Following the end of dairy operations, the barn was converted to the manufacturing facility for Fabco Power, one of the world's leading producers of hydraulically driven generators.Collection
