Race Track, Brook Farm, Chester, N.Y., built 1911-1912. In 1914 it was called the finest equipped racing “plant” owned by an individual in the U.S. Chester townspeople were encouraged to excerise their horses here. Richard Delefield, owner, held a free annual racing matinee with refreshments, It was usually attended by at least 1000 persons.Transcriber
