A neatly maintained road splits into paths surrounding a central grassy area. The foreground indicates a quieter time with clear, uncluttered streets. The address side of the postcard was dated April 23, 1908, postmarked in Chester, NY. The postcard features an elegant script and floral design elements in the header, reading "Post Card." It is addressed to Mr. William Masterson at 614 West 136th Street, New York City, NY. The postcard also has a green Benjamin Franklin one-cent stamp affixed to the top right corner. An added after-the-fact notes occupant to the house pictured on the other side.
