A 1769 survey map by [?] Metcalfe of land, for Thomas Moore and John Osborn in Evans Patent (which was early divided into smaller patents), Chesecocks and Wayayanda Patents, Orange County, New York. There are boundaries marked in red and yellow, petitioned for by Arch[ibal]d Brecken and others. The map indicates additional land owners. The owners are cited in "Calendar of New York Colonial Manuscripts Indorsed Land Papers...1643-1803". Harrison, New York: Harbor Hill Books, 1987.

The two tracts stained Red were surveyed ad lay’d out for Thomas Moore & John Osborn by Hamand? from Histate Excell’t H. Moore Brs. and this in turn made some time before M. Moores Caveat.
