Miller at a net cost of $4440, the Corporation Building was first Chester firehouse, dedicated August 10, 1896. Containing meeting rooms and a lockup (2 barred cells) on the lower floor and "Firemen's Parlors" in the second story, the main floor was occupied by Walton Hose Company, organized on November 6, 1893. Dear Marion, Can't believe I've been so late in thanking you the Docent on July 10 and Oct 16. Our season is over. On Nov 16th we have our Dutch Treat Supper at the Barn Sider. Norma Pres.
