This photo postcard showcases Bradford Mano, a large, elegant house with a porch, surrounded by lush trees. The reverse side of this postcard was postmarked at 8 PM on July 10, 1912, in Chester, N.Y., and features a one-cent stamp with Benjamin Franklin. On the card, the handwritten text says, "This is the house we are staying at. We are having a real nice time. - Mrs. Maguire," addressed to Miss Dorothy Schwartz in Newark, NJ. The style and script reflect an informal and personal communication typical of the early 20th century.
