Snow, uptown Chester, N. Y.: This monochrome photo postcard captures a snow-covered street scene featuring a two-story building with multiple business signs, including 'MacLachlun & Oram Plumbing, Heating & Electric'. Each storefront along the building has its second floor adorned with balconies, under a winter sky barely visible through bare tree branches. The foreground is dominated by a large pile of snow, the big 1914 snow that blankets the ground and partially obscures the lower part of the buildings.
