Front: On the front of this tradecard six different scenes of Pekin-China is illustrated. On the Top right hand corner there is a picture of "A China Tea Merchant" who is wearing a green jacket, a straw sampan style hat, and sporting a long queue. On the lower right hand corner there is the "View From a Mandarin's Pavilion" in which a woman in yellow and a man in red are sitting down waiting to be served tea by their servant. In "A Chinese Lady" we see a woman illustrated wearing a distinct headdress and embroidered dress and clutching a red fan. In "Pekin from the Distance" there is a elaborate village scene of Pekin and the rolling hills that exists behind it. Lastly in "Port of Pekin" there is a picture of the city's impressive architecture.
