Scope and Content

Front: The emperor and the empress sitting on the left side of the tradecard and in front of an attendant holding an umbrella, are watching a stage production of an opera. Performing is a man in gold, holding a red fan, and a shorter man in burgandy who is holding a stick with a green dragon. A man on the far right is sitting on a chair wearing a brown shirt and green pants and playing a banjo-like string instrument. On the lowe right hand corner is an illustration of Liebig's Fleisch Extract product and highlighted is white at the top is the following: Chinesischer Nationaltanz.
