Front: On a dirt cover street, a man rings a bell summoning village folks to come and observe his merchandise. Placed next to him is a wooden man-made shelf attached to a pole for transport filled with colorful items in the colors of pink, yellow, and blue. A man pushes a carriage with two male passengers and villagers stop and chat to workers at different stores lining the walkway. On the lower right hand corner is an illustration of the Liebig's Fleisch-Extract product and at the top of the tradecard is the following highlighted in pink: "Eine Strasse in Peking: Susssachen-Verkaufer."
