Wood trunk, vine/floral motif exterior, a metal trim, rust throughout. two handles on either side, two clasp lock, one key lock to secure the front. Orange travel sticker with Chinese writing in front, chinese writing on the lid, Interior decorated with green and cream paper. Attached to the inside of the lid is a Victorian-era sticker that features a girl and a dog. Stains/discoloration throughout interior paper lining. translation of the label on the front:"容記棧" means："Yung Kee Store" or "Yung Kee Emporium" （The name of the trading firms）Interpretative Labels

Label 3: Wooden trunk with metal outer covering. Leaf and vine design on the metal on top of trunk. Has metal fasteners and leather handles on the sides of the trunk and a broken strap where the trunk opens. The metal has rusted on most of the surface. Orange paper with black Chinese lettering has been pasted (glue?) to the top and side.
