Description

Elaborately beaded and sequined bodice with halter-like collar. The main bodice is peach-colored and decorated with intricate patterns of pearls, sequins, and clear and blue glass beading. A pleated layer of blue on white tulle encircles the hip area; thin drop-shaped strands of clear beads are attached all over the tulle. the garment has an open bottom (no leg holes), and zips up in the back. Two cloth loops are sewn inside the garment on either side. Several snap buttons are sewn around the waist (for bustle attachment). Part of an ensemble with headpiece, bottoms, and bustle, worn by Jade Ling while performing at Forbidden City Nite Club.
