Description

Large Chinese cymbal ("Dabo"?). Top: There is a round protrusion in the center of the cymbal into which a small circular hole is bored. Two large Chinese characters reading "dai cheung" ("big" and "large") are painted on the surface in black calligraphy, next to two smaller characters of "yuht" ("from Guangdong") and "dong" ("East"). Bottom: Various sets of Chinese characters have been painted in black, plus illegible marking in white chalk.
