The quaint San Francisco Chinatown Pacific Te. & Tel. Co. building was erected in 1909 to conform with Chinese architectural traditions. It houses what is believed to be the only Chinese Telephone Office outside of China itself. Postmark: "San Francisco, Calif. Feb 12 1947 1:30 AM"; "Feb 17, 1947 7:30 PM", stamped in black.
