One of two commemorative World War I medals - features an image of Sergeant Sing Kee with other soldiers from a photograph. Sing Kee was with the 77th Division. Reliefs on recto and verso. One of two.

Context

Lau Sing Kee was born in Saratoga, CA and raised in San Jose, CA. The 77th Infantry Division, became known as the Cosmopolitan Division because of its high concentration of first-generation immigrants.
