Description

Three 1907 puppets made of porcelain, fabrics, hair, and metal. (From left to right) The first puppet is wearing a red embroidered hat, a black and gold robe, black pants, black shoes, and is holding a gold sphere on a shaft. The second puppet has a removable black beard, made from hair. He wears an elaborate red and gold Chinese headpiece, a red and gold robe, and black and gold shoes. The third puppet has a painted on mustache, his hair is tied up with a gold feature, and he is wearing a green robe, which is torn and has some loss throughout, a brownish-gold colored rope belt with a tassel hanging from it, and thick, black boots.
