Back: "Ancient Chinese No. 15"; "The Chinese common people and mandarins, in distinction from the Tauist and Buddhist priests, have the head shaved once in 10 or 15 days, excepting a circular portion on the crown. The hair on this is allowed to grow, and is braided into a tress.
