The millstone is disk-shaped and made of iron, there is a square shaped hole in which the wooden handle goes. The wooden handle is square-shaped on the ends, where someone would hold it, and rounded in the center, where is sits inside the millstone. The iron trough is slightly crescent shaped, with two small, square-shaped feet supporting it, and a groove lengthwise for which to roll and grind the millstone over the herbs.
