Description
During Heath Seapy’s tenure as choir director at Church of the Red Rocks the annual “Choir Capers”, a series of mini musicals, was created to raise money for new choir robes and special equipment. These concerts were so popular that they eventually were presented for two performances. The concert tickets were available for $1.00.
In addition to the “Choir Capers” the church also presented four annual concerts called “Festival of Joy” featuring professional or professionally-trained vocalists and instrumentalists and the church choir. The performance included a variety of music, including sacred music, spirituals and show tunes.
