Description

A scrapbook with photos, news clippings and documents covering the history of the Church of the Red Rocks from 1975 – 1981. This was a time of growth for the Church. The church received it’s 500th member in 1979 and in 1978 the Ecumenical Vacation Church School had 50 children attend from 6 different churches. There was a “burning of the mortgage” ceremony in 1977 and in 1978 construction of a new addition to the church began and was dedicated on Dec. 6, 1978. Rev. Snow received the Antionette Brown Award for service in the Christian Ministry by women and an Alice Snow Scholarship was created.
