Notes

"Sunday, June 7, 1964, was the great day - the day we began to hold services in the new building. Due to the raw, unfinished condition of the building there was no service of dedication at that time. Instead we gathered outside (in spite of a high wind) and then, after prayer, we marched in singing. That was called a "Service of Entry". It seemed of little importance then that the building was raw and unfinished, from the plasterboard of the ceiling to the particle board of the floor. We at last had a place of our own!"
