A pre-Christmas celebration called Greening of the Church was started in 1987 at the suggestion of Rev. Jolie Hughes. This is a time for putting up the tree in the narthex, making ornaments, and decorating Avery Hall while singing carols and listening to seasonal music.Date(s) Occurred
