Ainsworth House, Oregon City.
Original government, P.W.A.
Built in 1851.
Built by Captain John C. Ainsworth. It was located in the Mt. Pleasant area of Oregon City. Its French windows, four stately columns and the second story balcony give it the appearance of houses of the old South. This is one of the pioneer houses which had a ballroom with a raised platform for the orchestra.
