Tucker A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 23, 1999, in Springwater in Estacada for William H. Tucker, who died October 14, 1999 after a one-car accident at age 87. Mr. Tucker was born April 10, 1912, in Springwater, where he lived all his life. He attended Estacada High School and was a farmer, starting with horses then moving to grass seed and most recently to Christmas trees. He was past chairman of the Clackamas County Grass seed Producers Association, past treasurer of the Clackamas County Soil and Water Conservation District and a member of the Estacada High School board of directors from 1945 to 1950, for which he also served as chairman. He served two terms on the Farmers Home Administration Board in the 1980. He married Theda Boyle on June 3, 1936, she died on November 10, 1997. Survivors include his son, William "Tuck" Tucker, and daughter, Nancy A. (Tucker) Tedrow, both of Estacada; sisters, Dicie Tucker Keller of Eugene,Or. and Violet Tucker Heiple of John Day; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. The Family suggests remembrances to the Springwater Grange or to the Estacada Community Center. Arrangements are by Estacada Funeral Chapel.
