The Oregon City Police Station was once the home of lawyer Joseph Hedges and his family, at 6th and John Adams Streets. Police sergeants Robert Chester (on left) and Stanley Orzechowski (on right) check out for routine patrols. The civil defense emergency truck, police cars and other emergency equipment are headquartered on a parking lot between the police station and the city hall. The property was part of the original Robert Caufield holdings.
