Description
Old Wilde House, Oregon City. The back of the photo states it was moved to build Penny Building. Back also states it was the "first piece of property Pappa ever owned." *Actually, the house was moved back toward the middle of the lot to accommodate a new wood retail/office/apartment space. A new structure built in 1929 accommodated JCP in that same year. Harley Stevens purchased the property from Ferdinand Wilde (JAH 10/2022).
