The Chambers Howell historic home in Gladstone at Herford St. and Portland Blvd. The home burned down in 1932-33. Howell (1869-1958) was an Oregon City druggist, who had partnered with Jones to run the Howell and Jones drug store. Chambers never married. He maintained his famous flower garden as a hobby.
