Two wood clock hands and a brass rod. Large minute hand measures 27-1/2" x 4"; hour hand measures 20" x 5 1/8"; rod is 12 3/4" long, brass. All three items have been painted black with paint missing in some areas.Context
Items were removed from the exterior Clay County Courthouse clock in the summer of 1987. They appear to be the original court house clock hands installed when the building was constructed in 1934. They were used as templates for new metal hands and shaft.
