Concord Library Children's Room Murals - Anne Mattill
Description
Concord Library Children's Room Murals
Anne Mattill created over 100 large mixed media murals for the Children's Room between 1979 and 2003, a new mural every month September through May plus one tied to the Library's summer reading program. The designs were conceived to relate Concord children's experiences to books available in their local Library.

A month later the assembly process was reversed and a new mural installed. There was no way to save the retired murals...."
